Mr. YANG Guang is a Senior Engineer with about 15 years of experience in hydropower and dam engineering. He holds a Master’s degree of hydraulic structural engineering from Wuhan Univerity, China. He is currently the Deputy Director of Hydro at PowerChina International Group Limited. Over the years, he has endeavored in a number of international hydropower projects in Africa and served as the Assistant General Manager of Sinohydro Zambia Limited and the Managing Director of Sinohydro Botswana (Pty) Limited. He is also a Board Member of ICOLD Young Professional Forum (YPF) and the Deputy Director of the International Department of China Society for Hydropower Engineering (CSHE), demonstrating his dedication to fostering international exchange and collaboration, as well as knowledge sharing among young professionals in the hydropower sector.
