Victoria joined the International Hydropower Association in October 2022 as a Senior Communications Officer. She is responsible for developing external and internal content across IHA's communications channels. She also project manages the content production of IHA's flagship report, the World Hydropower Outlook.

Victoria has over four years of external communications experience in the energy, consulting and technology sectors. When she is not writing about global hydropower projects, she is sharing good news across social media platforms (@apositivetake).

Victoria holds a BA in International Relations and a BA in Communications and Media studies from the University of Calgary. Over her career, she has continued her education through online certification programs and has received a certificate from the University of Edinburgh in Digital Marketing and a certificate from the University of Maryland in Strategic Communications for Sustainability Leaders.

She is fluent in English and Spanish.
