Her education qualifications include Doctor Rerum Naturalium in Marine Remote Sensing, The University of Rostock, Department of Marine Biology, Germany, Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Remote Sensing, Image Processing and Applications, The University of Dundee, Department of Electrical Engineering and Physics, Scotland, UK and Sarjana (B.Sc.) degree in Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB), Department of Geophysics and Meteorology, Indonesia. Nani's professional experiences comprise being Director for Maritime Science and Technology, Coordinating Ministry for Maritime Affairs, Republic of Indonesia and Head Division of Modeling Technology for Natural Resources Inventory, Center of Technology for Natural Resources Inventory, Agency of the Assessment and Application of Technology (BPPT), among other high-level positions.
