Usha Khatiwada is a prominent leader in Nepal's energy sector, currently acting as Lead Objective 3 (Increased Private Sector Investment) for USAID Urja Nepal Program at Deloitte Consulting Overseas Projects LLP. With over 17 years of diverse experience in Nepal, she has excelled as the CEO of NRN Infrastructure & Development Limited, securing investments for multiple major hydropower projects. Usha is also an accomplished speaker, representing Nepal in national and international conferences across the globe, advocating for youth and women's empowerment.

Her passion for mentoring young professionals is evident through her roles as a key mentor in the Women in Hydropower Mentorship Program, a mentor for global womentech in 2023 and her volunteer work with organisations like Girls in Tech, Nepal. She has also contributed as a judge in various Hackathons and Hultz prizes.

Usha has received numerous awards, including the 50 Leading Lights of Asia Pacific for Kindness and Leadership in 2021, the International Diversity Role Model Award in 2021 and the Women with Hydro Vision Award in July 2023. Her commitment to leadership and empowerment extends to her role as a board member for the Sanima Middle Tamor Hydropower project and as a founder member of the Nepalese Marketing Association since 2021.
