Over the next 10 years, business, finance, government and civil society will be pressed to be more creative, more effective and work more closely together to deliver on the Paris Agreement and Sustainable Development Goals.

Accompanying the transformation of energy systems while providing water services and adapting to new climate constraints will require hydropower owners and developers to apply good practices and collaborative approaches earlier and better.

Tell us your priorities for the hydropower sector

The role of hydropower will change. What lessons, drawn from the World Hydropower Congress, will enable participants to adapt and seize the opportunity ahead?

Has the congress met its objectives and will it serve as a catalyst for action and collaboration around sustainable hydropower?

In the closing session, speakers will address these questions and look at priorities for action across the hydropower sector.

The International Hydropower Association (IHA) will take note of submitted priorities in the final report on the World Hydropower Congress.
