Speaker biography

Liu Haohui is a Research Fellow in the Solar Energy Research Institute of Singapore, PV systems technology group. He works on PV system modelling, analytical monitoring of system performance and degradation, optimization in the tropical context, and novel techniques for smart operation & maintenance.

Liu Haohui has been active in the field of floating solar for more than two years and is in charge of conducting research on the world’s largest floating PV testbed in the Tengeh Reservoir, Singapore. He also conducts theoretical studies on improving system modelling and design for floating solar, as well as evaluating novel technologies such as tracking and hybrid operation with hydropower.

In addition, Liu Haohui is actively involved in building the floating solar community to help the industry achieve technical excellence.
