Debbie Mursch is the Director Business Development at GE Renewable Energy – Hydro. She has over 30 years of experience in the power industry, spanning operations, engineering, business development mergers and acquisitions.
Previously she has been Vice President for the ABB Service and Flexible Automation, as well as Vice President of Strategy, Planning and Acquisitions at Alstom Power.
Currently Debbie is a board member for the National Hydropower Association having previously held roles as their Vice President and Treasurer. For several years, she was their first Vice Chair and then Chairman of their Pumped Storage Development Council.
In 2015, Debbie was named one of the most influential people in the Hydro Industry by Water Power and Dam Construction. In 2016, she was one of ten women honoured by Pennwell at Hydrovision International, for making significant contributions to hydropower.
Her education includes a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin and an MBA from Drexel University in Philadelphia.
