Speaker biography

Danielle Crisa is a consultant for International Affairs at the China Three Gorges Corporation. She is responsible for Corporate Image Overseas and cooperating with different departments and subsidiaries to build up the group’s sustainability system management. 

She is currently working on environment, compliance and social responsibility issues while following some pilot projects in Uganda in Africa. This includes the Isimba Hydropower Project and the protection of the Kalagala Offset Area, working on the creation of a biodiversity offset area to preserve and carefully manage the remaining falls. 

Throughout her career she has developed strong relationships with international and local NGOs and international organisations.

Danielle has a master’s degree in Far Eastern Studies from Paris la Sorbonne. She speaks Chinese and has been living in China for over 20 years while working for state-owned enterprises.
