Speaker biography

Carine de Boissezon is the Finance Director of the International Division for EDF. She has been in this role since 2015 and is responsible for the performance management of the underlying international assets and their contribution to the overall group objectives, primarily their plan to triple assets outside of Europe by 2030. Carine also supports the development pipeline, ensuring each project gets the appropriate financing structure.

Carine joined EDF in May 2010 as Director of Investors and Markets where she was responsible for the group’s interactions with financial markets, notably managing the relations with investors and shareholders. She led the first Green Bond issuance by EDF in 2013, which created a reference in the market and has led to EDF currently having issued €4.5 billion of Green Bonds.

Previously, Carine had spent her entire career at Morgan Stanley, in London and Paris. From 2006 she was made Executive Director on the sales floor with worldwide responsibility for the utilities and clean energy sector.

Carine’s education includes graduating from the European Business School (ESCP) in Paris. She is married and has four children.
