Speaker biography

Anne-Raphaëlle Audouin is the President of WaterPower Canada, the largest national voice for the hydropower sector in Canada. As part of this, she promotes the many attributes of water power and the fundamental role it plays in the fight against climate change.

Anne-Raphaëlle has been working in the natural resources sector for more than 10 years. She has a post-secondary degree in Political Science, after which she focused her studies on environmental law, earning both civil and common law degrees from the University of Ottawa. After completing her master’s degree in Environmental and Natural Resources Management at Dalhousie University, she worked for several years as an Environmental and Social Impacts Management Specialist for international engineering consulting firm Hatch Ltd.

She is certified in project planning and controls and is also a co-founder of the Canadian Council on Renewable Electricity.
